The Outdoors
The space
The property sits within the UNESCO-designated Frontenac Arch Biosphere — one of the most biodiverse regions in Canada — with open lawns for a ceremony, quiet woods to wander, and a sandy beach right out front.
About 1,700 feet of sand runs along the shoreline, and the bottom slopes out gently for more than 100 feet — shallow and calm for a long way. That easy grade makes it ideal for kayaking, paddleboarding, and water sports, and gentle enough for young children and grandparents alike. The water is spring-fed: clear, clean, and pure enough to drink.
